Red, White & Blue Foyer Decor

I decided to get the Fourth of July box out and start making the place feel a little more red, white & blue.

I realized the other day that with all the big projects (furniture, room renovations, etc) and all the projects I'm doing for other people, I've not really been able to enjoy any small decor projects lately.

So this was a little therapeutic for me :)

I added a few things to the front porch but mostly focused on the front foyer table & mantle.

Most of the things I had on hand from previous years but I did add a few new things to freshen it up!
Don't you love when you open a box and you had completely forgotten you had those things??

I was thinking about how I needed a pretty fourth of July garland and when I opened the box, there one was!!!
Then I remembered the cute photo shoot we did with the kids last year- which is why I had made the garland.

They're so little!!!
Gosh, I can't believe that was already a year ago!

Anywho.
Back to the foyer :)

The flags are new this year- I figured they should be added in somewhere :)
Dollar Store for the win on those!

The Target Dollar Spot wins the award for my favorite fourth of July pieces though for this year.
I'll share how I threw together the "Land that I Love" centerpiece soon- it was so easy!
Make sure to scour your Target bins to see if any are left :)

I collected a few random pieces in my pretty white plate.
The jar & white metal candlestick were both thrifted. The 'freedom' block I made several years ago and so were the burlap and fabric stars. They are the easiest things ever to throw in a vase to add a little Fourth flair.

The "O Say Can You See" blocks were another new addition.
Guys, they took me about 10 minutes to throw together.
I'll be sharing those later on with the free cut file to make it even easier on ya!!

The red vase & paper rockets were projects from years ago- can you believe they are still intact?!?
Find the details on how I made them here

The cute patriotic jar was a clearance find last year at Target.

Framed printables are still the easiest way to go as far as holiday decor.
You can find the free "Home of the Brave" print here

The sweet painted wooden flags were painted by my older kids a couple years ago.
I love them.
I thought about painting the raw edges to match the red but then decided against it.
I love that they created them themselves :)

Anyone else all decorated up for the Fourth?
I can't wait to snuggle up and watch some fireworks- we are all about relaxing this weekend!!
