About a year ago now,
I released my very first printable.
I was super excited about it...and super nervous at the same time.
It was simple.
And it meant a lot to me because I used to sing it to my little man when he was a baby.
Well, I still do.
Well, I still do.
I was just playing around.
It was super simple.
And I didn't even know if anyone would really care about it.
So, so wrong.
It's gone a bit viral.
Especially now that it's on Pinterest.
And I still can't believe it when it soars above all the rest of my posts on my stats page.
So apparantly you guys like (and relate too) the Bushel and a peck song too.
And I felt bad limiting you guys to just that one hot pink color.
And hinted that I had a surprise in store for you guys with this printable.
And here it is, nearly a year later and...
I'm happy to tell you that the Bushel and a Peck print is now in nine colors!!!
Including the original hot pink version.
My favorite part of the whole thing is hearing about the sweet memories most of you have with this song.
It's been amazing to see how a few simple words can evoke so many different emotions from people.
I'm so excited to see where these may end up, so please send any pictures that you take of how you use the prints!!
I love you guys a bushel and a peck :)
I did a giveaway this past summer using the grey and yellow version if you remember,
and had a lot of fun dressing up an old cabinet door with it...
so I can't wait to see what fun ideas you come up with!!

Thanks for the new colors Kelsey. They all look great !!!
ReplyDeleteSooo cute! I love the way you decorated that cabinet door. If I had been in the blogosphere then, I would have definitely entered that giveaway.
ReplyDeleteAwesome, thanks! I say this to my kids. I add on the end, "and a hug around the neck" :o)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this song!! I remember this printable last year--excited for new colors!! So cute, Kelsey!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe I found this. I was looking at I heart naptime linky party and saw your post. I clicked and found this printable. My Dad sang this song to my kids all the time when they were little. His Birthday is Feb. 2cd and I can't wait to give it to him framed to put in his office. Thank You soooo much!

Love it and it's simply stunning in that frame with the twine! I'll be sharing this at my Sunday Spotlight tonight!
ReplyDeleteOh great... now I'm going to be singing that song all day!! :) Super cute prints!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it's just coincidence, but whenever I deeply think about someone I love who has passed away, something pops up in my world to connect me to them. It happens so frequently to me, especially lately, that I almost can't dismiss it. Today, while thinking of my dad and getting a little teary-eyed, I came across the picture of this on the blog A Turtle's Life for Me. My dad said this to me when I was little every night before I went to sleep. I spoke about it at his memorial service (I love you dad, a bushel and a peck, even until I'm 100!) and I named my personal blog after this saying. And now of course, I must have this in a frame!
ReplyDeleteThis is very cute!! Love the saying! Thanks so much for linking up to "Strut Your Stuff Saturday." We loved having you and hope you will be back next Saturday to share more of your terrific ideas! -The Sisters
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for making this available in a jpeg format! I used the black and red one to create labels for bags of cookies for my boys teachers. So precious!
ReplyDeleteMy grandmother said this to me for as long as i can remember. She just passed Dec. 2011. She was 101 years old. So happy to find this.
ReplyDeleteThis is super cute. Going to try to find a way to incorporate this into my moms Christmas present. She sings this song to my daughter and it is so sweet watching them together as she sings it. I am thinking some kind of two sided frame; 1/2 this and 1/2 a pic of the two of them.
ReplyDeleteThat would be super cute! I know she would love such a sweet & meaningful gift!!!
